Central Virginia Log Home Construction, LLC. is a Class A licensed builder for the state of Virginia. We offer a wide range of construction services including: Project management, consulting, shell construction or complete turn-key services. We also offer hands-on construction workshops for buyers who wish to construct their own homes.

Lewisburg Model
We wanted a company that could provide us with kiln-dried logs. Kiln drying is a complex science. After the logs in each charge average a moisture content of 19% or less, they are ready for milling to the final log profile. More than 10,000 pounds of water are removed from the typical home, significantly reducing the weight of the logs. Properly dried logs provide higher insulation values, which reduces your energy costs and increases the comfort of your home. Graded and Certified Logs ensure each log meets the Building System Council’s standards for grading.
We also wanted the Total Package Flexibility Kuhns Bros. offered. We chose the "No Shop" package that contained all the materials necessary to build our home with the exception of these 8 things; foundation/masonry, HVAC, Plumbing, Electric, Cabinetry, Appliances, Flooring, and Labor. This made the budgeting for our log home so much easier.
